Vintage Rental FAQs


HOW IT WORKS: You can browse and book directly from our rental selection here

The minimum rental period is 3 working days and the maximum rental period is 31 days but you can always email us directly if you would like to rent an item for a shorter or longer period of time. 

SHIPPING & RETURNS: We only accept rentals within the UK at this time. Your rented item will be shipped using Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For service for which we charge a flat fee of £9.99. This includes a free return label and covers any cleaning costs we bear to make sure the item is in impeccable condition for the next rental.

You will receive your item on the first day of your rental at the latest. If you do not please contact us immediately. You must post your item back by the last day of your rental period (eg. if you rented out a dress from Monday to Thursday you must post the dress back on Thursday before EOD). This is to ensure we have enough time to receive the dress, clean it and make it ready for the next rental.

We ask you to re-use the box in which you received your rental if possible - we are trying to minimise waste.

If you are local to Brighton & Hove area you can collect it (and return it to us) for free - please choose 'Local collection' option at checkout.  

If your item doesn't fit when you receive it please email us to arrange a return and receive a refund. It's always best to contact us before making a booking if you are unsure about the fit.


You are responsible any item(s) you hired including returning it to us in the same condition as it was when you collected it or received it.

You will be responsible for any loss of or damage to the item you have hired. This is usually cleaning or mending fees unless the item is damaged beyond repair, in which case we will ask you to pay the full retail value of the item to cover the loss. In case you spill something or damage the rented item please contact us immediately so we can advise on the best course of action.

You must return any items you have hired before your hire period ends unless otherwise agreed with us.

If you fail to return an item by the agreed deadline you must contact us immediately. You will also need to book and pay for the extended time unless agreed with us. In case we aren't able to accommodate the extension it is your responsibility to get the item(s) back to us within the agreed timeframe. If you do not do so you will be liable to pay late fees, which will be 20% of retail value per day.
